2014

Narrative plays a central role in my practice;
I often take figures and characters from mythology or pop culture. In my final year of study I took inspiration from numerous books and myths- producing a series of sculptures, medals and 'distillations' from their work.

This collection took direct references from: Robert Stevenson's 'Jekyll & Hyde', William Goulding's 'Lord of the Flies', Ian Banks 'The Wasp Factory', several quotes from the late Terry Pratchett, as well as iconic imagery from the 1933 stop motion classic- King Kong.
